Real Estate Conference and Recognition Award 2023 Honours Gov. Sanwo-Olu ~ Prestige Real Estate News
All is set to honour and celebrate Lagos State Executive Governor, His Excellency Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Best Governor in Infrastructure and Housing Development at Real Estate Conference and Recognition Award 2023.
The prestigious event is slated for Sunday May 14 at The Civic Center, Ozumba Mbadwe Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The THEME of the event is REAL ESTATE MARKET: PROSPECTS IN THE MIDST OF CHALLENGES
According to the organiser of the event, the governor is nominated for the honour on the merit of overseeing the growth in infrastructural development and the birthing of new opportunities and economic empowerment in the state.
It would be recalled that in addition to numerous housing projects, the Lekki Deep Seaport, Lagos Rice Mill, the 18.75 killometres Eleko-Epe rigid pavement six-lane expressway, the first phase of the 13 kilometers of the Lagos Blue Light Rail, and the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History were amongst the list of infrastructures commissioned during Sanwo-Olu’s tenure as Governor in order to open the economy of Lagos and boost its mega city status.
It was gathered that development of social infrastructure like schools, improvement of classrooms, training and retraining of teachers and deployment of modern learning devises in public schools have culminated in the construction of over 1,000 schools in the state in the last three and half years.
Apart from the free education at the primary and secondary schools in the state, tertiary education attracts the lowest tuition in Lagos state compared to the rest of the country.
And the Sanwo-Olu administration has also founded two additional universities to expand access and increase specialised expertise. One of the universities is for education; the other is for science and technology.
In the same vein, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state has promised to continue the pace of development in the Centre of Excellence in his second term in office.
Real Estate Conference and Recognition Award is Instituted to celebrate, recognise outstanding, exceptional individuals, corporate organisations, who have made tremendous contributions to the growth and development of the Nigerian real estate industry.
RECRA is also instituted to recognise and appreciate deserving individuals, corporate entities and professional institutions that have made remarkable impact in real estate and property sectors.
