ERCAAN INDUCTS 103 FELLOWS INTO COUNCIL, UNVEILS GOLDEN LAPEL AS LASRERA PLEDGES SUPPORT | Prestige Real Estate News 

Lagos, Nigeria – June 4, 2026 – The national body of the Estate, Rent & Commission Agents Association of Nigeria (ERCAAN), the foremost regulatory body for estate agency practice in Nigeria, has inducted 103 distinguished practitioners into the ERCAAN Council of Fellows.

The landmark event, held on Wednesday, June 4, 2026 at the Association’s National Secretariat, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, drew dignitaries from across the country. Notable attendees included former National President, Hon. E.T. Dare; Board Chairman, Hon. Sunny Yemi Adenowo; Founder, Pa Michael Adeogun, _efa_; and other members of the Board of Trustees.

The event was also witnessed by representatives of the Lagos State Government: ESV Somorin of the Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (LASRERA) and ESV (Mrs). A.S. Balogun from the Ministry of Housing. Both officials reaffirmed the Lagos State Government’s plan to regulate the real estate industry in partnership with ERCAAN, stressing the need for professionalism and the elimination of quackery.

A major highlight of the occasion was the unveiling of a special golden lapel for members of the Council of Fellows. The unveiling was performed by the Chairman of the occasion, Rotarian Joe Vincent, _efa_.

In his address, the National President of ERCAAN, Hon. Godwin Alenkhe, _efa_, thanked the new Council members for their perseverance and commitment to the inaugural edition of the Fellows’ induction. He reaffirmed the Association’s determination to enforce professionalism, uphold ethics, and implement its 10-Year Development Plan aimed at repositioning ERCAAN after 23 years of disunity.

“The induction of this Council of Fellows signals that ERCAAN is back, united, and ready to lead. With the support of government regulators like LASRERA, we will deliver a sanitized real estate sector for all Nigerians,” Hon. Alenkhe declared.

In his response, the Chairman of the Council of Fellows, Hon. Femi Ayuba, _efa_, thanked the National President and his Executives for the formation of the Council. He stated that this move will reconcile all past and present Fellows of the Association for a more united ERCAAN.
