DAVIDO’S BANANA ISLAND HOME IS UP FOR RENT
Singer Davido seems to have officially bid farewell to his Banana Island home.
The property was listed for rent on Instagram some days ago by a real estate agent, accompanied by pictures of what was once the abode of the superstar.
The mini-mansion is located in a suburb of one of Nigeria’s most exclusive and expensive neighbourhoods, Banana Island, Ikoyi Lagos.
Davido announced the acquisition of the property via a tweet in 2022. He tweeted, “I open my new house today! 2022, all blessings, Amen!”
After he announced to the world, he threw a lavish housewarming party in January 2022 to celebrate the new acquisition.
The house puts heavy emphasis on indoor-outdoor living and comes with a spacious entertaining area, a wood floor finish, a swimming pool, a gym, expansive living areas, a fully-fitted kitchen, and a garden, among others. Anyone who decides to rent the property will also be claiming the home’s external garage.

No one knows how much he paid for the property but many reports claimed he spent over One billion Naira to acquire it at that time.
Davido, who released Timeless, his fourth studio album, on March 31, 2023, through Davido Music Worldwide, may have put the property up for rent after the very tragic and unfortunate domestic incident that led to the death of his son in November 2022.
